My first-ever speech competition was excruciating.  I was only 13 and expected to somehow create a riveting talk about math functions.  I was miserable until I noticed I had everyone’s attention. When I won 1st place, I was hooked. 

I spent the next decade honing my speaking skills, getting a BA in Speech Communication and an MA in teaching. Informed by over 30 years of teaching experience, I designed this service to help speakers like you overcome your most common challenges and empower you to craft presentations that matter.

  • It depends on how much time you have available to prepare and how much feedback you need.

    If you have approximately 8-10 hours within a 2-3 week time span before your speech, my Speaker Sprint service is designed for speakers who have a tight deadline and need both a fast paced process and to have material they can work through at their own pace.

    If you have more time than this and you need extensive support, apply for Stage Right, the customized speaker coaching option.

    If your speech is already in its final stages and your event is imminent, schedule a Spotlight feedback session to get support from me within the shortest time frame.

  • Yes. In addition to holding a M.A., I have coached researchers in presenting their findings and have written and read many academic articles.

  • We’ll be able to determine the exact support that you can receive during an intro call. Please fill out the questionnaire before the call so we can discover how to best address your speaking needs.
